Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer phones in a pleasant, informative manner. Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants, fellow employees, and representatives of other companies.
Distribute information to inquiring applicants through written and oral correspondence.
Conduct tours of the community and apartment homes for applicants.
Screen and process the applications for verification on a daily basis.
Type and process necessary paperwork for move-ins.
Coordinate the preparation of the monthly newsletters.
Prepare and distribute payment reminder notices, balance due letters, noncompliance of policies notices, lead-based paint inspection notices, and monthly utility bill letters. Maintain follow-up as needed for these notices.
Coordinate reservations for the guest suites.
Perform move-ins and move-outs.
Administer and distribute parking decals to residents.
Coordinate and promote resident activities.
Perform administrative functions including stocking forms, maintain bulletin boards, order and stock office supplies, and maintain general office files.
Perform daily and weekly property inspections.
Responsible for daily input of activity into computer including move-in/move-outs activity, renewal activity, processing security deposit refunds, accounting month end reporting.
Responsible for making daily deposits.
Responsible for updating maintenance availability boards on a daily basis.
Coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping staff the scheduling of apartment homes for occupancy.
Accurate typing; accurate use of adding machine; sales training, well groomed, ability to work with and understand persons of all background, ability to assist Property Manager in their duties, particularly with dealing with residents.
Other duties as assigned to ensure the rental office operates effectively and efficiently.

Demonstrate ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Experience in producing and presenting formal reports to management
Possess effective facilitation skills to manage conflict and resolve disputes.
18 years of age
Excellent communicative and phone skills.

Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.

Proof of residency or eligibility to work in United States at time of hire.
High school degree or equivalent
Experience in property management
Knowledge of "Yardi" software and Microsoft Office.
